... READ MORE : My interest in artificial intelligence focuses particularly on its ability to generate text (novels, novellas, short stories, poetry) and photographs.
AI capabilities have advanced tremendously; these systems can generate complex texts involving abstract reasoning, construct dialogues, and propose plotlines or structural alternatives based on the initial prompt.
Their ability to generate photographs, images, and drawings has kept pace with this progress.
Also noteworthy is a sort of intuitive capacity to derive — from a prompt of just a few lines — an entire text or photograph that precisely matches the desired outcome, while also incorporating user-requested modifications ( lenght, tone, ambiance etc. ) when asked for.
I created this site to explore the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence in these areas, focusing on concepts that interest me ( as : kick scootering ; science-fiction ; simulation ( Do we live in a simulation, in multiple simulations, in nested simulations ? Did we create the simulation(s) or did the simulation(s) create us ? etc. ) ; art ; for example : Is there hidden art in the city? Art generated unintentionally and unconsciously by urban planners and residents?
This is not a professional site, but a personal one, an unpretentious one. It makes no claim to scientific value or to authority. It is an experiment conducted by an amateur.
I use the following artificial intelligence systems. (They have made surprising further progress this year. My comments concern the current free versions. ):
- z.ai - Only text generator ; very impressive.
- Kimi - text generator ; very impressive. Can generate images but paid account requested.
- ChatGPT - text and image generator ; very impressive. However, it seems to me that Kimi and z.ai have the ability to produce more sophisticated texts..
- Meta - I hadn't used it for long. Beeing back at it, I am very impressed by its performance. (There is also a link on the Facebook profile pages (when connected)).
- DeepSeek - text generator. When I first started using it, the results seemed generic to me. Lately, I have been very favorably impressed by its capabilities.
- Gemini - text and image generator ; images are very good. For text, If you submit it an elaborated prompt it can generate a good text.
- Grok - text and image generator ; not so impressive for text generation ; can be very good for image generation, but others AI are more intuitive. (There is also a link on the X.com pages (when connected)).
- Microsoft Designer - image generator, is definitely worth a try.
